Joe Dirt’s Filthy, Fake Daytona Sells For as Much as a Real One

Although Joe Dirt, the 2001 comedy directed by Dennie Gordon, has a dismal 9 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes,

I found it to be a quite enjoyable film. Though it's hardly Citizen Kane, David Spade's adventure comedy is nonetheless funny enough to make some people laugh.

It's also a unique Hollywood attempt at creating stories about and for blue-collar workers.

When Joe Dirt came out, it made $31 million.

This year, his Dodge Charger brought about $330,000 at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach.
