Keen to break records before it focused on a greener future, Dodge

elected to give its venerable Challenger model one final shot to make history.

The manufacturer put its chips down on the Charger for its future and elected to cull the Challenger model for the third time in its history.

The current third-generation model began production in 2008,

though ever-tightening emissions regulations within the US forced

the end of high-capacity V8s and a focus on EV technology.
